Again, wasnt really prepared for my second session after goin on another crazy nihgt out with the air hostess so was tired and hungover once again.
Again Concrete peak was absolutely rammed being the only slope open everyone flocked here and only 2 of the runs were open.
Again, it was just a case of practising my turns. After a few runs, I could confidelntly carev on both heel side and toe side allowing me to go dpwn some of the steeper part of the runs.
Had a go at practising switch as well but thats gonna take some time. Great fun though and had a few decent wipeouts. gotta learn not to put my hands out and fall on my shoulders instead.
I overstepped the mark a bit today though by trynna do toom much. My sencond to last run, my progress regressed and I kept making stupid mistakes and falling resulting in some nice bruises on the hard snow.
I went up for one more run which was a bad idea as I came off on the first bed and sprained my wrist quite badly. I was pretty lucky I didnt break it. I tried limping down but still fell over on several more occasions. My legs just packed in as I was so fatigued. I was a bit pissed off for doin that final run as im now goin around with a damn wrist support on for the next week. Definatley gonna go up with wrist guards next time as well as some arse pads!
Another great day though, cant wait for the next snowfall. The whole towns workforce will shut donw though as everyone will be pulling sickys and off up the slopes for the fresh powder. Cant wait!!
What a top weekedn though - absolutely stoked!!
